How two lifelong friends turned a shared idea into Bangor's neighborhood medical dispensary, built by hand and grown in Maine.
Our Story
American ReLeaf opened its doors for the first time in 2020 as a medicinal dispensary serving up the good people of Bangor, Maine. The company was founded by two lifelong friends from college, Edwin Rosado and Justin Saucier.
What started as a shared idea between friends became a place built on care, quality, and a genuine connection to the community they grew up around.
Built from the ground up
Justin Saucier built the first American ReLeaf location in Bangor by himself. He spent all winter building the store, finished the front room first, and AR sold cannabis out of that front room during the day while he finished constructing the rest of the store at night.
That hands-on, do-it-yourself spirit is still baked into everything we do today.
Locally grown cannabis
American ReLeaf proudly grows cannabis locally in the state of Maine. Everything from our flower, vapes, and cartridges is made and produced in house.
Growing our own means we control quality from seed to shelf, and it keeps our roots firmly planted in the community we serve.
